efi_load_pe: Invalid DOS Signature
Seeing "Invalid DOS Signature" the last 48 hours on the forum.

@steveits
Yeah ....
But was does that " .... No space left on device " actually mean ?
Upgrades were started with nearly no space left on the disk ? Serious ?
Or the path is wrong - as I have 'nothing' in /boot/efi/ ( a SG 4100 ) -
@gertjan I don’t know. Obviously not every upgrade or Netgate would have seen it. It’s the EFI partition though.

Thanks, that was the info I was looking for.

Yes, that is what OP is hitting here.
If you haven't already open a ticket to get the recovery image:

I have the same problem, luckily I use HA and the network is operating with the backup router, but it's situations like this that Netgate loses respect and credibility, launches an update version that doesn't work, feeling like they haven't even tested it , put it into production hoping it would work. And now who do I call Batman? Amateurs...

@m7infratec I actually just went through it so I know it's frustrating. But per other posts Netgate can't seem to replicate it, and obviously no one encountering it had installed the beta/RC. At least recovery isn't too bad, just need the image file and a 5GB+ USB stick.
