My new ISP use IPoE (New Zealand)

Hi all, having some trouble connecting with my new ISP and was hoping the netgate forum might have some answers or ideas
My previus ISP used PPPoE connection and provided username and password, this made sense and I had no problem setting up my Pfsense router as a complete beginner!
After moving house I changed my ISP. When ready I started rebuilding my home lab, however found as I was ready to connect, my new ISP use IPoE!
Can't find any setup instructions that I can make sense of, and not even sure if this is supported?
my ISP have told me fiber connecton use IPoE, Vlan id 10, and also gave me below info, but can only give support for short list of ISP standard routers
- WAN Connection Type: DHCP (Automatic IP/Dynamic IP/IP over Ethernet)
- 802.1Q: Enabled
- VLAN ID (802.10): 10
- 802.1P (Priority): 0
- IP Version: IPv4 or IPV6
- MTU Size: 1492 or 1500
- NAT: Enabled
Setting above make sense on ISP provided router but unsure if I can make this work on Pfsense? should I go back to my old ISP with PPPoE connection? or can I make this work

Others here have similar configs. My ISP provides IP over Ethernet through a cable modem, so I don't have to worry about VLANs. I'm curious as to why they specify 1492 or 1500 MTU. 1492 is generally used for PPPoE. Maybe they use that in areas where they don't have fibre. 1500 should work fine.
Did they say how they provide IPv6? DHCPv6-PD is commonly used, but there are some ISPs that do different.

After creating it you can assign WAN to it. -
@steveits Thanks Steve, I think you may have found the question I should have asked! setting up Vlan, and assigning to WAN
I could not get my head around the VLAN part!Followed the link you provided and it starts to make sense, I think!

@jknott thank for you response, I think Steve may have solved my problem with IPoE connection, mostly my lack of undrstanding VLAN I think!
regarding IPv6 the only reference I have from ISP is DHCP, not sure how this works but probaly be inline with your comment.Settings provided by my ISP make sens when you follow set instructions for the range of standard routers they supply, however, for Pfsense I am glade this formu exists, if not I would have likely changed my ISP to overcome my problem ;)

When you get the connection up, come back and I can help you with IPv6.
One thing you'll want to ask your ISP about is prefix size. -
