      I tried updating from console but that failed too. I checked the conf file and it points to

      url: "pkg+https://repo.netgate.com/pkg/pfSense_plus-v23_01_aarch64-core"

      I changed "repo" to "firmware" like some older posts indicate should work but that just threw errors. I went to Diagnostics and under DNS Lookup it tells me repo.netgate.com could not be resolved but I don't see DNS errors under the Status > DNS. I disabled pfBlockerNG and tried again but same errors. What else can I try?

        @cubeyglyph did you go through https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/upgrades.html#upgrade-not-offered-library-errors?

        Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
        When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

          @steveits

          Everything I attempt from there comes back to "repository pfSense-core has no metafile", "pfSense-core missing" or "no package database installed"

            @steveits If I set it to Previous Stable Version for its branch, at first it says it is unable to check for updates, but after letting it sit a minute it does tell me it is up to date. While it is set to Current Stable Version it simply says "unable to check for updates"
