      Hello,

I am trying to upgrade from BETA to the new stable branch of 23.01.

      The dashboard shows the following.

      40a7ffa5-6795-4588-88b7-9b872e0fb051-image.png

The system update section show the following:

      d76781aa-c4d8-4c9d-9b41-1227d6614923-image.png

I am unable to select a branch. The branch drop down isn't populated.

I thought by running pkg -d update at the cli might help, but I go the same result.

I checked the pfSense-repo.conf and found this:

      82dc44c0-f901-4b1a-b88b-316307e707f7-image.png

That obviously does not look right.

So I want ahead and backup up my config and restored it to a new install of 23.01 Stable. I got everything running but I still have issues with System => Updates

I did manually reload all the packages.

I also ran pfSense-upgrade -u from the CLI.

Whatever the issue was in 23.01-BETA has followed me to my complete reinstall to 23.01-Stable. Something in my config is broken.

When I select System Update, the 'Retrieving' gear spins and spins and spins. Current base system or Latest base system will never populate.

@scourtney2000 In that case I need to see the entire output from

                  pfSense-upgrade -d

You can run that via SSH and get the output that way.

The fw doesn't have any problems with packages.

I was able to figure this out! I had a DNSSEC-capable DNS server, 1.1.1.2 configured and it was causing issues with syncing up with pfSense updates and packages. I rolled back to 1.1.1.1 and I the 'update' and 'package' functionality started working again.
