ZFS Errors after upgrading to 23.01 (Dell R430 + PERC H330)

Hello all, just wanted to drop this here. After upgrading to pfSense + 23.01 from 22.05 I started seeing errors in the general system log, similar to below:

mfisyspd0: hard error cmd=write ...
mfi0: I/O error, cmd= ...

(should have copied the errors before losing the logs, but here we are)

in short,

Edit /boot/loader.conf.local
Add: hw.mfi.mrsas_enable="1"

In my case I'm just passing the drive through (no raid).
