    Hello,

I would like to use pfsense full version on a microdrive (3600rpm 1" magnetic hard disks inside a CF enclosure, that is), to be installed into an embedded board (ie. Alix2 boards).

I am looking for some advices to get this thing done. If i just install pfsense inside vmware, using the microdrive as a physical hard disk, checking of course the "enable serial console" option, using a regular kernel then will it boot inside the alix ? Do I need to choose the embedded kernel ?

    Any tip is appreciated,
    thank you
