Your device has not been registered for pfSense+.

Do you have Netgate hardware? Or have a subscription? If so you can open a free ticket to have them investigate.

      https://go.netgate.com

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@dobby_ Well you can’t/shouldn’t go backwards. Is devel/23.05 available yet? There is always https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/upgrades.html

Under pfSense roadmap there announced that there are only 5 bugs to kill for 23.05 and there are ~81 bugs open for version 2.7

@dobby_ What's that to do with it? You updated to 23.01. There's no new snapshots so no public devel branch at the moment, so nothing to select. And as the last update was a BIG one with FreeBSD base OS changes (12.3->14) there's no "downgrade" as it's not possible. That's where ZFS Snapshots / Boot Environments come into play, so there's no problem in your selection.

As the interface states, you have a mismatch with your Netgate ID. Either that was miscaluclated at some point or you have 3rd party hardware registered for Plus that got changed afterwards (NIC MACs or something?). Anyway the NDI is different to the one that's registered at Netgate so you have no "valid" Plus subscription thus no update servers available.

                That's a quick fix:

                • either raise a ticket and let them check your NDI and insert the new one instead of the old (if it changed somehow)
                • if it's a private homeuser/lab box just "buy" another free license, use the register menu and re-register the box

Afterwards die NDI should be recognized again thus making the repositories available again :)

                Cheers

Don't forget to upvote 👍 those who kindly offered their time and brainpower to help you!

If you're interested, I'm available to discuss details of German-speaking paid support (for companies) if needed.

There are more than 5 bugs to kill before 23.05 can be released. Most of the bugs on 2.7 are also required for 23.05. See 23.05 Plus - All Open Issues

Yeah those won't be the only ones. There are, at present moment, 5 open issues on 23.05... 23.05 will most likely not be released ahead of it's general timeline.

I was looking under that link here pfSense roadmap
                      and is written;

                      • pfSense CE software release 2.7.0
                        502 Tickets (414 closed — 88 open)

                        6 Tickets (0 closed — 6 open)
                        Release targeted for May 2023

I had assumed that was the case.
Those 5 bugs apply only to the plus branch (will not be incorporated in the community version)

                        • Target version: 23.05

However if you look at most of the entries for 2.7 you will see

                        • Target version: 2.7
                        • Plus version: 23.05

The search I linked was for target version 23.05 or Plus version: 23.05 which gives a better idea of what is outstanding.
