@trewflight48 same here. I bought the 6100 MAX, and I can’t even get it connected to the internet. I reset the machine back to factory, had it choose a new password for me and forgot to write it down. And the pinhole reset is near impossible. I’m exhausted dealing with the AT&T UVerse router double-natting for my apartment, and don’t have time to fight with the router while I’m trying to work from home and get my job done. And like you said, since it’s paid support only for a $900+ box, it’s too bad so sad. It makes it really hard to enjoy a product if you can’t get it working and only free support is available.

"Zero-to-Ping (ZTP) is a commitment we make to all of our customers to enable you to get online and confirm network connectivity when you purchase a Netgate appliance with pfSense Plus software." -
@steveits Understood. I spent way too much time struggling with getting it working instead of actually working, that I have just removed it from the network, and put it back in the box. When I have time to fight with it, I'll consider getting it back out of the box again. I was hoping for a simple turnkey solution. I understand that I have a complicated environment dealing with uVerse, but I have also set it up in the DMZ zone, getting a public IP address and such, and still couldn't get the LAN connection to connect to the public internet. Yes I have unchecked the two respective sections at the bottom of the setup page to allow private IPs to connect, and I could successfully ping and traceroute out through the WAN connection both in the uVerse DMZ as well as behind the firewall with an internal 192.168.1.100 IP address. Yet for some reason, it still wouldn't connect. I was hoping to reset it, and doing so the new password got lost. Now I'm struggling with using the hard reset option on the side to return it (again) back to factory. It's just too much of a struggle, which was impacting my ability to work from home. Again, I'm glad to hear that y'all want me to get this functioning. I do too. I'm just stressed out over it right now, and will have to come back to it later when I have more time to fight through it.
Is there any documentation on the blinking lights and what they mean? When I had the pin reset function, I held it for 30 seconds until all of them went red. I assumed that was in the factory reset mode, and it was going to return back to the default 192.168.1.1, but it didn't reset it. So I guess I'm doing it wrong.

lights and what they mean
They do:
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/netgate-6100/io-ports.html#led-patternsalso
https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/netgate-6100/factory-reset.html
On the 6100 it does do a config reset, vs some models it's just a hardware reset/boot.
Frustration understood. :) I suggest creating a new thread per issue so it's easier for people to notice. The forum is pretty active with several dev/admin/support folks from Netgate also, especially in this Netgate hardware forum.
