    Is pfSense+ 23.01 appliance agnostic?

      Please excuse the stupid question, but I haven't run into this situation before.

      I reached out to TAC a few weeks ago and got the 23.01 software image for my SG-5100. Since then, I have transitioned to a 4100 MAX. Can I install this memstick on the 4100 without any issues? Or should I reach out to TAC again and get a new copy of 23.01 built specifically for the 4100?

      Again, sorry for the ignorance, I just want to be 100% sure...

        It depends on the device and the image. Some do have specific firmware (especially true with different types of ARM devices). That said, the 5100 and 4100 both use the same serial memstick installer so it should work on both.
