Hi, I have a question about the (lack of) stability I have when running a Windows 365 VM on my workstation which is connected to the internet via a PFSense box.

I have various other subnets on the PFSense box, and if anything changes there (say a new machine joins a different subnet for example) it seems my VM times out for a period of around 30 seconds, before coming back again.

Is there any setting or any priority I can give the subnet my workstation sits on to reduce/stop this from happening? Its a 95% correlation with changes on other subnets, so while that may be most of the issue, it may not be the entire issue of you know what I mean.

So what other parameters in PFSense should I maybe look to optimise?

    Thanks

This is the cause - OpenVPN connection drops out temporarily - and RDP (that doesn't use this VPN, the two are completely separate) drops out too.

How can I make the RDP session more resilient to this?

      Thanks

So there are gateway state changes.
Did you check System > Advanced > Miscellaneous > State Killing on Gateway Failure by any chance?
This would flush the states in this case.

@viragomann You gem of a person!

Seriously, I need to take myself outside for a vigorous uppercut - I completely overlooked that parameter!

          Thank you!!!!
