Modem ?
When you select your Wifi SSID, the one created by your AP, you are probably asked for the SSID password.
When done, your wifi connections behaves as a wired connection and is 100 % transparent (sort-of).The rest : network settings.
Example : pfSense LAN is 192.168.1.1/24
AP IP is 192.168.1.2/24
AP gateway = 19.168.1.1
AP DNS = 192.168.1.1
(this means the AP has a static IP setup)
AP : Shut down everything that is DHCP related.
AP : Shut down DNS stuff. -
