We have a Netgate XG-7100 w/ pFSenseCE 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3 and would like to update to the most current version. However, when choosing the Update option, it only displayed either a A Plus - 20.1 or CE 2.4.5, both of which are not current/supported. The main interface is also indicating the the pFSense is up to date, but that's not the case. Any thoughts on how to resolve this?

        If you reinstall see https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/solutions/xg-7100/reinstall-pfsense.html

For the version not showing see https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/troubleshooting/upgrades.html#upgrade-not-offered-library-errors

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

If that's a 7100 you don't have CE on there, it's a "factory" version of pfSense software from before the name changed to Plus. You can safely upgrade using the Plus choice there it may just take multiple upgrades to get all the way current.

You can reinstall, which may be faster/easier, but ultimately either way should work. I'd still contact TAC and get an installer for the 7100 to be safe in case the upgrade doesn't work as expected, but it should be OK.

              Hi Jimp,
Thank you for your suggestion Im going to try the upgrade to 20.x and then to 23.0 from there. I received the installer from TAC as well as my plan B.
              Again, thank you!
