      So recently, after newly installing PF sense. My xbox location and other websites are stating my location being in, Naperville, illinois, USA. which is strange. I looked in my settings and couldn't find anything related to location. Before, I was running VMware with pfSense and my location was Seattle, Wa, USA and it was perfect. Which is where i am located at. Anyone know a fix for this?

        Your new IP is probably GEO located to Chicagoland -- that or you're running a tunneling VPN.

          @rcoleman-netgate I'm not running any VPN tunneling that i know of. Do you think if i called Xfinity they would be able to fix this?

            @kp206 It's certainly an ISP issue.
            I would look up your IP on the interweb for an IP lookup - its likely reported as being in Chicago. Not much you can do about it on pfSense other than shutting down your firewall for a few days or doing a MAC spoof -- neither of which are needed.

                @kp206 Then it's a database issue. Geolocation for IPs is based on registered regions, especially on the city-level.

                  @rcoleman-netgate I’m assuming calling Xfinity won’t help?

                    @kp206 They certainly have no control over it.
