      Hi,

I'm wondering why my pfSense always uses Swap, although it's not running low on RAM:

It did also not run out of RAM in history, here since the last reboot. Minimum free RAM was 3.3GB:

Running top in the shell, sorted by used swap space shows all processes with "0B". Who is using it?

Swap ran up to 100% usage (with <60% RAM use) over the last 2 weeks, this is why I did a reboot yesterday.

I have dozens of Linux VMs which are deployed much shorter on free RAM, all not using sawp at all.

      Any ideas?

Install the System Patches package and apply the recommended patches. See it that corrects it. There are a few memory issues that you might be hitting that have been patched.

@stephenw10 Thanks for the hint, I've installed the package, applied the recommended patches and rebooted. I'll watch ;-)
