      With Tailscale now being part of pfSense, what’s the likelihood of a headscale package coming up?

        @rcfa

        It would be more a self coded "Tailscale server" from
        what I was reading and understanding. So for me
        something plus and not as a replacement.

          @rcfa I added the ability to configure the control server via the UI specifically to support headscale :)

            @cmcdonald Yes, I get that, and thanks!
            What I’m asking about, however, was hosting headscale proper on pfSense.

            The point being that an exit node should also be able to host headscale.
            I try to avoid having to rely on a slew of external services, best I can…

              @dobby_ of course this shouldn’t be a replacement. The current tailscale module already has support for using a headscale server instead of a tailscale server.
              What’s missing is the ability to host a tailscale server on a pfSense box.
