pfSense unable to see the internet after restart

HI, I had a problem where my Netgate 2100 was blocking a game download and I couldn't figure out what was happening. So I unplugged the netgate from my Starlink box, and plugged my Netgear mesh router, which was plugged into the Netgate into the Starlink box instead. This solved the problem and the game downloaded.
To be sure though I chose the Halt option in the GUI. When the game was fine I plugged the system back in the way it was before and suddenly the netgate couldn't see the internet. It was plugged into the Starlink box exactly as before and it's reporting WAN traffic, but couldn't get details of its own updates (which I always take as a sign that it can't see anything coming in).
So I restarted the box, twice, no result. Then I restored from a backup, just in case with no joy. So I did a factory reset on the box and then restored my backup, but it still can't see out. So I've had to bypass it again until I can get the issue fixed.
Does anybody have any suggestions please?

Did you restart the Starlink box? Is the 2100 pulling an IP address on it's WAN?
