Hi, I want to deploy a users based policies on pfsense not through IP or MAC address, like to block specific content for a user or forwarding traffic to a user. I don't want to use VLANs for this so i used captive portal for the authentication of the user and squid proxy server to block the web content, but I cannot successfully configure captive portal with squid guard. when i run them separate then they work perfectly but when try to combine them then it's not working. Is this thing work in pfsense, if yes then how or any other method to achieve this goal.

      thanks.

@ali_jobia I take it you looked at this: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/packages/cache-proxy/squidguard.html
        and this: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/captiveportal/index.html

Then see whether this applies to you case: https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/10749
