Netgear Nighthawk 3.1 Cable Modem <2.5gbe> PFSense <10gbe> Dell Powerconnect 5524.
Internet works but I'm having speed issues over 1gbe connections. My server is connected to the switch at 10gbe and my desktop is connected at 1gbe. When I run speed tests my server is getting 1400mbits but my desktop is only getting 200mbits. If I put in a standard gigabyte nic into pfsense then both get the same download speeds 800-900mbits. Why is the 1gbe connections getting throttled? PFSense is using a Qlogic 10gbe card. I tried hooking up my desktop direct to the lan port of PFSense and still have same issues so it's not the switch. It's something in PFSense throttling 1gbe connections. Any help is appreciated!

@shawnmichalski see if this thread helps (as much as it can). I thought I remembered another but found this one. https://forum.netgate.com/topic/179884/hoping-for-10gbps-getting-sub-1gbps-speed-xeon-e3-1270-v5-3-6ghz/

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
