I migrated to pfSense+ Home on my CE virtual machine months ago, but now I can't upgrade to the next stable version (23.05) because pfSense "forgot" my registration. It shows I'm not registered, but clearly shows I'm on pfSense+. I tried re-registering again, which succeeds, but doesn't stick.

Am I missing something, or overlooking something here? I'm hoping upgrading will assist my issues with getting IPv6 configured properly with AT&T Fiber.

@fox-hound If you changed hardware the NDI changes. For a home user the easiest solution is to get a new free key.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.

@SteveITS Only change I made was the MAC address for my WAN interface in ESXi. I'll request another, wasn't 100% sure that was possible with same account.

Yes, you can just get a new token and reregister it.
