      I'm using pfsense 2.6.0 and HAProxy haproxy-devel 0.62_10
I'm running Docker & Portainer on Mini PC and everything was working OK until Portainer update changed access port from 9000 to 9443.
I updated port number in my HAProxy settings and HAProxy status shows that server is down and check shows: Layer7 wrong status: Bad Request
For Http check method I tried GET, HEAD and OPTIONS with the same result. Also, strange thing is that status still shows port 9000 even after I changed it to 9443 and configuration shows correct port.
      Any advice would be appreciated.

it happened to me several times,
don't change the port, delete the backend and redo it
