Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I jumped from 2.6.0 to 2.7 Beta. Now I'm getting some of the same issues I had when I was running pfSense+ 23.05.

      • 80 seconds to jump from the Status / Dashboard screen to the System / Update / System Update screen. (CPU usage < 25%)
      • An error occurred while uploading the encrypted pfSense configuration to https://acb.netgate.com/save (Connection timed out after 30008 milliseconds) @ 2023-06-18 14:31:30

Is there a quick and dirty way to jump back to 2.6.0 CE from the 2.7 Beta, or should I pull out my 2.6.0 CE CD ROM?

@TAC57 If you took ZFS snapshots before upgrading you can roll back. If not the only option is to reinstall.

@rcoleman-netgate Thanks Ryan, I guess I should learn to do ZFS snapshots. :-) Reinstalling 2.6.0 from and CD and then loading my config won't be too painful.

@TAC57 You will need the 2.6-RELEASE config before the update -- you can get it from the config history if you haven't pulled it already: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/backup/restore-different-version.html

As for ZFS... yeah, it's a process. It's automated in Plus but that won't help you.
