Upgrading to CE 2.7 upon release

I'm on a very old 2.7 DEVEL version:
2.7.0-DEVELOPMENT (amd64)
built on Wed Dec 07 06:04:40 UTC 2022
FreeBSD 14.0-CURRENTWhen CE 2.7 gets released (I assume today), can I directly upgrade to it without any issues?

In theory it should work fine, but that large of a jump could be potentially problematic. I can't recall anything specific that might be an issue though. Biggest worry would be something in the upgrade code itself.
Just have a backup and the 2.7 installer image handy and try it when the time comes. Odds are in your favor that it will be fine.
