Port forwarding and static IP
-
pfSense by default set the LAN for DHCP, will it cause problems if I set a Static IP for my web server and just let everything else stay Dynamic or since I am not sure where to tell pfsense that I have set that IP to the webserver, will it try to issue it to some other device

My rule of thumb is that servers should always be static unless there is a specific reason to set them to dynamic.

Pretty much. Other than that, set up a DHCP static mapping for the host.

As already mentioned - you could create a reservation for this server. Or just set your pool to leave some IPs on either end or both ends of the segment for static assignment. For example if using a /24.. set your pool .10 to .250 this leaves you IPs on both ends for static use.
