unable to access specific web page over port 5480
-
Hi All
I have setup IPSEC VPN from home lab (pfsense) with cloud lab. Everything works well!
The issue is, there is one specific appliance URL that I am trying to access and it does not work. The URL is https://10.55.4.45:5480
All the others url's work well for example I have another appliance deployed with IP https://10.55.4.46:5480 and this works well
I captured the packet via wireshark / postman however I could not find anything informative. I check pfsense logs and it did not help as well
any suggestions or which logs should I share here to understand the concern
thanks

@lvaibhavt
Possibly the device itself is blocking access from outside of its subnet?Use Diagnostic > Packet Capture on pfSense to sniff the traffic on the LAN interface, where the concerned device is connected to and try to access it from the remote site.

@lvaibhavt said in unable to access specific web page over port 5480:
The URL is https://10.55.4.45:5480
Is RFC19189 or "Private Address Space".
If your - from your perspective - this IP is local as your LAN is also 10.0.0.0/8, then it never reached the pfSense, the VPN client Gateway.Check on your local pfSense if traffic arrives at your LAN.
Check if it arrives at the VPN client interface.
Check what comes back from the remote destination ( the other side of the VPN tunnel).
If nothing : goto "cloud lab" and continue searching over there. -
You have two gateways.
Try to check states and firewall logs on them,
Check exactly on which interface the traffic appears.
