LAN connection problem

Hello, I want to install pfsense over virtual server. I managed to install it. But I couldn't connect it to my local network. How do i solve the problem. My server is active over vps but I want to connect to my local network

What did you you install it to. Where is that physically? How is it connected to your network? How are you testing?

I installed it on virtual server. Pfsense is built on virtual server. My home network is physically set up. Only WAN port is active. LAN is not active. I am accessing via remote ip. I want to access local network via virtual.

Ah, so setup a VPN to your home from a remotely hosted VM so you can access it using that public IP address?
What have you tried so far? Which VPN type are you using? Are you also running pfSense in your home?

@stephenw10 I installed it via vm. But here my intention is different. I want to install via cloud servers. I watched a lot of videos and finally succeeded. I actually managed to install it on the cloud server
I tried Wireguard as VPN but couldn't get it to work. I need help on this. -
Which cloud service is it installed in? Which pfSense version?
Are you also running pfSense at home? Which version?
But your goal here is to access your home LAN subnet from external locations by routing traffic via the cloud pfSense install?
Any of the included VPN types should work for this but I would probably use OpenVPN, at least initially.

@stephenw10 Latest version is installed. I'll give it a try with openvpn. I hope I will succeed.

@ozanbabatas My problem is solved. Now I can connect VPN to the modem through a remote server and access it. Thanks
