I'm watching Lawrence Tech Hooking up the Netgate to the Dream Machine. I have the 8200 & the DM SE. He has the Netgate going to the DM's RJ45 WAN Port and the 2nd Lan going to one of the switch Lan ports. I bought a 10G Cable to use the Netgates' Wan4 10G to the DM SE's 10G WAN Port... Can I do this? Do I have to use the console or GUI is ok to change the WAN4 10G to LAN 10G?

      Thanks,

I know not of the reason to tie a Netgate router with a UDM but the ports on the Netgate can be changed to WAN or LAN use as you see fit. They are all fully-routable interfaces. 👍

@RobbieTT I hope its like that... taking my system down for the new install shortly. I think VPN is the reason I'm doing it but no matter It has been chosen.

          Thanks
