slow download speed while upgrade from CE to Plus

Can I download the pkg and put them in the /var/cache/pkg/ and run the pfSense-upgrade command ?
I find the repo in /usr/local/etc/pkg/repos/pfSense.conf but I can not resolve the pfsense-plus-pkg.netgate.com domain name.
How can I speed it up ?

The process will require 280 MiB more space.

Use a faster WAN connection?

Might just have been busy at that time. It shouldn't normally be especially slow pulling pkgs.
