      Hi,
I'm having trouble installing 03.00.00.01t-uc-18 firmware on the device. After chose upgrade firmware and automatically reboot device the firmware version is still the same.
Summary of the current device stats:
      Current pfSense version: pfSense+ 23.05.1-RELEASE
      Current firmware: 03.00.00.03t-uc-14

I tried this solution but I get a message:

umount: /boot/efi: not a file system root directory

      My mount points is:

      /dev/ufsid/60b9302175a9865b on / (ufs, local, noatime, soft-updates, journaled soft-updates)
      devfs on /dev (devfs)
      tmpfs on /var/run (tmpfs, local)
      devfs on /var/dhcpd/dev (devfs)

      Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You have to powercycle the Device to finish the Upgrade.

          Hi @NOCling
Thanks for the advice. I confirm that your directions allowed me to uprade firmware on Netgate 6100 to the latest firmware version 03.00.00.03t-uc-18

          Thanks!

Yes the microcontroller code is only loaded at power on so if that is updated as part of the firmware, as it is here from -14 to -18, a power cycle is required to apply it.
