Frankly, from what I read, 2.7CE is a risky thing to do presently.
I have acme, pfBlockerNG-devel and squid packages working just fine as it is.
How long can I keep this installation working?

A really long time if you want to and accept the risk. IMO only until an exploitable bug is found.
Risky is relative on the upgrade. There will always be unknowns and it is more common for people to post problems than to post no problems. A "safe" upgrade could wreak yours and a "risky" one could be just fine. My upgrade to 23.01 went fine, a friend with the same HW ended up with a USB install and a restore.

The important thing for any upgrade is the be ready to upgrade more than one way and to be ready to recover more than one way. Proper preparation frequently defeats problems.

@johnpoz DUH? Nobody said it's "a risky thing to do" specifically. But what you should have guessed (AndyRH did already) is that you might run into prblems YOU DID NOT HAVE prior to the upgrade from 2.6CE to 2.7CE. I understand YOU did not have problems.

@namaem614 there can always be problems, be it there not one single post about it, or 100.. But I am on here a lot, and we are lot close to the 1 number than the 100 for issues being reported.

Keep in mind that.. People report problems - your missing out on the 1000's most likely of uneventful simple easy updates.

Take a backup, have a install media.. And you should be ready for even the worse case scenario.
