Can't update to 2.7
-
Hi all,
I have pfSense 2.6 installed and I'm trying to update to 2.7 but getting the message "Unable to check for updates" in the GUI. This happen in the Dashboard and Update Screen.
I'm also getting the error below:
[2.6.0-RELEASE][admin@pfSense.localdomain]/root: pkg info -x pfsense ld-elf.so.1: /lib/libc.so.7: version FBSD_1.7 required by /usr/local/sbin/pkg not found [2.6.0-RELEASE][admin@pfSense.localdomain]/root:
Any ideas greatly appreciated.
TIA

@gregeeh Just download 2.7 install and restore config from back up...you wouldn't needed to post and wait for a response...

I had that too. I just installed 2.7 and used the existing config. Backup the config and when you install, you can tell it to use the existing config.

ld-elf.so.1: /lib/libc.so.7: version FBSD_1.7 required by /usr/local/sbin/pkg not foundThis is an expected error after 2.7 was release. It should not cause any problem for normal operation in pfSense where all functions use pkg-static to allow for it.
