New to pfsense, but I may have found an issue in the webConfigurator interface.

So I was struggling with getting VLAN interfaces set up. Nothing was working. But in many attempts I think I nailed it down.

If you define a vlan on a port and then assign an interface to the vlan, THEN go edit the vlan and change the interface, you can come back to the interface assignments and see that the new interface shows up correctly. You can even press Save on the interface assignment list. BUT, it won't work until you open the interface assignment and save it. Only then does it apply the changes and work.

I did this a couple of times to confirm it.

Anyway, finally got it working. Just wanted to let someone know. Just trying to help.

You can open a bug report for it if it's repeatable: https://redmine.pfsense.org/
