It's been a few years since purchase but my SG-1100 has always had an issue with rebooting. Recently there was some corruption. I've done a fresh install of 23.01 and restored minimal data from a backup. I've also upgraded to 23.05.1 immediately after the upgrade. Any advice would be nice. I have a putty logs of the output from the crash if that'd help.

If you have a crash report we can look at that.

@stephenw10 There is no crash report in /var/crash. Here is the console output for two crashes that happened close together: https://justpaste.it/ckozr

Nothing really specific there. The first thing I would do is make sure there sufficient airflow, that it's not overheating.

That was my suspicion when it initially needed a reboot. There is not a lot of airflow where the device is located. It is now sitting on a fan small being powered by a USB port on the device.

You had to manually reboot it rather than it spontaneously rebooted?

Yes, when I consoled into the device after reports of no internet, the console was not displaying correctly and once manually power cycle reported an error with the drive. I then installed 25.01 from an image I had, went through the setup to restore internet, upgraded to 25.05.1 and restored firewall rules, and dhcp settings from a backup.

But now it's just rebooting spontaneously?

It probably had been installed as UFS originally which could then hit filesystem issues as a secondary problem if it was hard booted.

Initially it was UFS but I had an issue upgrading to 25.01 where there wasn't enough space and support sent me a link to download the new firmware which flashed and installed as ZFS which it has been since. It spontaneously reboot last night but my putty window was not monitoring so I was unable to see if there was a difference in the sequence.

Mmm, logging the console output might be the only way to catch that.
