      Hello,

I have a couple of Netgate 1537 appliances in a CARP HA configuration and I'm the process of getting them updated.

So far I have managed to upgrade to 23.01 on both but when then attempting to upgrade to 23.05.1 on the secondary I receive the following error in the Web GUI "Another instance of pfSense-upgrade is running. Try again later"

I tried to update from console (option 13) to see the full output and receive :

      pfSense-repoc-static: invalid signature
failed to read the repo data.
failed to update the repository settings!!!
failed to update the repository settings!!!

I have went through the process on the Netgate update troubleshooting documentation and also tried setting the update branch to the previous version and running pkg-static update -f' and pkg-static clean -ay; pkg-static install -fy pkg pfSense-repo
pfSense-upgrade' then setting the update branch to the latest and re-attempting the upgrade process but receive the same errors.

      Netgate device ID is: 9d86fe5990ca8e6b055c

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@Mitchell-0 It appears you have resolved this by opening a ticket with TAC.

For those who come here with the same issue that is the resolution.
