No Interface recognized. HP DL580 G7

I tried pfSense 2.7.0 and OPNsense 23.7 on a HP Proliant DL580 G7 with quad-port onboard NIC enabled ( Broadcom BCM5715C or BCM5716C I guess ? ) . none of them were able to recognize the interfaces both during installation and later!
I installed an Ubuntu 22.04 for sanity check, all four ports up and running no problem.

Check the actual PCI IDs, run at the command line pciconf -lv. Or in Ubuntu: lspci -nv.
There may not be a FreeBSD driver for those NICs.
