      hello,

      as per the title I am unable via GUI to either install nor uninstall packages, because the firewall throws the above mentioned error.
      PS: I just rolling rebooted my firewall virtual machines, so they are all fresh out of a restart.
      only the master node can operate, the slaves throw this error.

        That error is misleading. This is the same issue as your other thread: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/182462/nat-firewall-ha-not-working

          @stephenw10 I'm uninstalling a package, it doesn't (should not have) anything to do with not being able to reach the internet from nodes 2&3 (right?)

            The error is still misleading. Try removing a package at the command line:

            pkg-static remove pfSense-pkg-Open-VM-Tools
