That would require almost a complete re-write. And then either adding VPP support in FreeBSD or rebuilding on Linux. A Non-trivial task!

This would, as @stephenw10 said, be a HUGE thing to have happen. Not saying it won't ever happen, but pfSense is great as is, I still prefer BSD for firewalls myself, and TNSR exists which is Netgate's project that does VPP routing.
I do personally wonder/speculate (and this is far fetched) if TNSR will eventually replace pfSense as a full feature Linux firewall with VPP, but who knows.
Do you have some specific need for VPP @wind3 ?
