      Hello,

we've updated our pfSense about two weeks ago, now we have two phenomena:

      1. New "webConfigurator default" certificates are generated sporadically. When this occurs, many of these certificates are generated within a few seconds (last time 20 were generated). We could not identify a trigger yet.
      2. OpenVPN shows all clients as connected. It looks like OpenVPN is connecting to itself, because all clients that have not established a VPN connection contain the public IP address of the firewall as their real IP address. When I disconnect these connections via the web interface, they reappear a few seconds later.

      Any ideas?

        Hmm, strange indeed!

Do you have an OpenVPN server running on the firewall? Does it show the clients connecting to it? What are they supposed to be connecting to?

What do you see logged when the webgui cert changes?

        Steve
