      With the move to OpenSSL 3.X and with the implementation of the FIPS Object Module 2.0 can we now say that pfSense is FIPS compliant similar to what other security vendors market their appliances as?

      Firewall: NetGate,Palo Alto-VM,Juniper SRX
      Routing: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Switching: Juniper, Arista, Cisco
      Wireless: Unifi, Aruba IAP
      JNCIP,CCNP Enterprise

        Not as far as I know. Getting certified as FIPS compliant requires megabucks testing and then more to maintain it. It's never been an economically viable option.

          Ahh ok. I’m ignorant when it comes to this stuff. I thought a certain software needed a certain version to be compliant.
