Following a firmware update, I find myself unable to access a NetGate SG-1100 FW through the web portal, SSH, or the console. While a login prompt appears in console mode, after entering a username and password, the system displays the message:

"/etc/rc.initial: no such file or directory."

Currently, my objective is to initiate a factory reset. Unfortunately, I am unable to log in to the device, and there is no hardware button reset option available for this model. Any suggestions on resolving this issue, or is the device considered bricked? Thank you.

It's likely that something went wrong during the upgrade (e.g. ran out of memory/storage space). Open a ticket with TAC and they'll help get it running again: https://www.netgate.com/tac-support-request
