Unable to check for updates or packages

Hi All.

I have a new install of PFSense. it appears to be working fine, its getting an IP from the modem and the pc's are getting an IP from PFSense and internet access.
But on the dashboard it is unable to check for updates and its also saying it is unable to check for packages also when I go to look at other packages.

Can anyone suggest anything that could be the issue?

Ive also come across this, but I still have internet on all the pc's
