Dashboard bug after 23_05 -> CE 2.7.1 install

It appears that there is a bit of a bug in the dashboard Version check.
What I did:
After failed package update under 23.05, I reinstalled 2.7.1 and restored using my latest backup taken under 23.05. All went well but now I've noticed that the dashboard is reporting that an upgrade is available, 23.09. After a bit of investigation, I've discovered that if I go into System->Update, it shows the correct version, 2.7.1. Switching back to Status->Dashboard, the version displays "The system is on the latest version." correctly. However, if I click the refresh icon, the version info reverts to "Version 23.09 is available."

That's expected if the NDI is staill eligible for Plus, which it would be if you were previously on 23.05.
