I had a working SG3100 until this afternoon when I updated pfblockerNG. After the update, I rebooted the machine. Can't it back. Can't reach the web admin page. I can't access it via console. I can't access any of the ports when connected to it directly via ethernet cable. The first light on the left just blinks blue and thats it. Any ideas how I can revive this thing? It completely unresponsive.

I am on version 23.05 ( I think). Haven't updated to the latest.

@vacquah if you didn’t change to the Previous Stable branch, installing later software can break pfSense.

        Worst case, free ticket:

Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to reboot, or more depending on packages, and device or disk speed.

Had you connected to the console before?

What do you see when you try to connect to the console?

You're going to need a functioning serial console connection to either recover it or to reinstall clean.
