6100 versus 6100 max - is the extra storage (128 GB versus 16 GB) worthwhile?
-
I currently have a 3100 appliance with 8 GB of SSD storage of which less than half is currently used. I'm planning to upgrade to a 6100 very soon. I see this comes as standard with 16 GB of storage (built in) with the option to upgrade that to 128 GB (NVME SSD).
The difference in price is not huge but on the face of it I can't see why I'd need 128 GB. I don't use any add on packages other than WireGuard and it seems unlikely that I will start to do so any time soon.
What reasons might there be to get the increased storage? Is it worth the extra cost for some future proofing? Am I missing something in terms of possible use cases?
Thoughts please...

Other than having additional storage space the SSD is a lot faster than eMMC and has a much higher write life.
For some packages that store a lot of logs or cached data locally you would want that.
If you haven't seen an issue on the 3100 and plan to use the same config on the 6100 you will likely be fine with the eMMC.
