      Hi all,
I would like to update an alias url's table every five minutes

I have installed cron package to customize the /usr/bin/nice -n20 /etc/rc.update_urltables schedule; I have added */5 in the minutes's column

Sadly it's not working; if I save the alias manually, the list is correctly updated

      Any ideas?

Thanks to all in advance for help

      Best regards,
      Jack

An update regards my question: in system logs I see this message

        rc.update_urltables: /etc/rc.update_urltables: Test_BlockList does not need updating.

My list is a text file that is hosted on a webserver and that I call with a simple url (http://myhost.com/blocklist.txt)

I tried to change the text file adding some IPs but PfSense says always  Test_BlockList does not need updating

        Thanks in advance
        Jack

Sorry guys, I have solved my problem

Opening the file rc.update_urltables on PfSense I have seen the forceupdate parameter

I have modified the cron schedule such this: /usr/bin/nice -n20 /etc/rc.update_urltables now forceupdate

          Now It works perfectly

          Best regards,
          Jack
