It looks like my SG-1100 has suffered an unrecoverable hardware failure. I had AutoConfigBackup enabled and I have the decryption key.
      I have a few questions:
--AutoConfigBackup has stored my config on a NetGate server, right?
--Can I restore the config saved from one device to another device that is the same model?
--Are the SG-1100s sold today the same as the one that I bought two years ago or is there some change that would make the configs incompatible?
--Has anyone else done this before?

      Thanks for any help.

        Restore:

Yes you can restore to the same or usually different hardware. Models with switches are a bit different because of how each handles it internally but Netgate support will convert it for free. But not needed with the same hardware.

Can’t say if it’s 100% the same but it doesn’t matter you can just restore.

Have restored to same and different hardware many times.

Pre-2.7.2/23.09: Only install packages for your version, or risk breaking it. Select your branch in System/Update/Update Settings.
When upgrading, allow 10-15 minutes to restart, or more depending on packages and device speed.
