            Yes they are i226:

            [24.03-DEVELOPMENT][root@4200.stevew.lan]/root: pciconf -lv igc0
            igc0@pci0:25:0:0:       class=0x020000 rev=0x04 hdr=0x00 vendor=0x8086 device=0x125c subvendor=0x8086 subdevice=0x0000
                vendor     = 'Intel Corporation'
                device     = 'Ethernet Controller I226-V'
                class      = network
                subclass   = ethernet

              @stephenw10 It’s a very nice little box. I’m a little surprised the 4100 was retired so fast, it is - apart from the 8200 - the lastest unit released. I’m also sorry to see a new 4xxx series without SFP(+) ports. Makes them quite a lot less usefull for me at least ;-)
              I’ll see if I can get me another 4100 before they all disappear :-)

              Love the no fuss of using the official appliances :-)

                No MAX option??

                I sure hope they improved the eMMC memory life expectancy over previous models...

                  @keyser 4100 was a nice unit with all media options where Gb wan was required. 2100 just doesn't cut it for those speeds so to have to go 6100 now is quite a jump...

                    A version of this with SFP+, 8GB RAM, and an NVMe drive would be an absolute knockout.

                      @veritomo They are going to need to update the other hardware at some time as the 4100 is in the same range of hardware.

                        Yeah, and it seems the new box is from Silicom also - and is in a family with devices that goes to 10Gbe and SFP(+) ports

                            Did these get delayed? When I placed my pre-order, I could of sworn it said that it would be shipping in late January. Now it says late February.

                                          I called and spoke to the Sales department, as mentioned in this post

                                          They said they expected to get the units in on February 23rd, and would immediately start testing and shipping them once received. Sales rep then basically pointed out that the world doesn't operate on expectations....

                                          Which is indeed a valid point, hence my previous question.

                                          It was a round-about way of asking if Netgate received the shipment on the schedule they expected.
