Traffic Graph Widget not showing correct labels

Re: Bug? - Traffic Graph Widget
I am currently running 23.09.1-RELEASE (amd64) on a 6100 and have the same issue as the bug referenced above. Is there an available fix? Thanks. -
@rickandaj That is not a bug, that is some guy posting about a problem he is having/seeing etc..
If it was actually a bug would need to be reported in the pfsense redmine.. Which I would of been happy to do, but I can not reproduce the problem.
Here I had an interface called, test - changed it to testNEW and it shows up with that name in the traffic widget..
-
@johnpoz . Yes there is no issue when I go to the settings for the widget. It shows the interface name correctly. However, the graph shows the old name - i.e. opt1 instead of QuantumfiberWAN
I was hoping to have the graph show the actual renamed interface..
-
@rickandaj said in Traffic Graph Widget not showing correct labels:
opt1 instead of QuantumfiberWAN
it will always show that.. It will show the actual interface not the name.. For example
Lan/wan are special..
-
@johnpoz OK got it!! Working as designed. Just thought that it would have actually shown the renamed interface. Good thing is, the world will not strop spinning because it doesn't. LOL Thanks for your clarification. Cheers.

@rickandaj Now is something for a feature request?? Maybe yeah wan/lan are special.. But others called just optX where you can change the name on them, etc. but they are always still referenced as optX
