SG-1100 Upgrades

I just bought a netgate sg-1100, running pfsense+. Support level is "Community Support Only."
Since this is for homelab use, I don't plan on upgrading the support. But one question I have is at my support level, do I get software updates?

yes you get access to software updates on this device even with the community support only option

Yup updates are always included. And in fact you do have TAC-Lite with any Netgate hardware so you can open a ticket for basic setup, config conversions, firmware requests etc.
