Intel N100 + i226-V good option?

Hi everyone,
I want to buy a mini computer with this hardware.
Can I find a problems with this? I have read that this network card has given problems but I understand that it is already solved.
Is 8GB of ram is acceptable? I want to create VLANS and inter-VLANS.
Always thinking of version pfsense comunity i can't understand the difference with que plus version.Thank you very much.

You can install any version on both hardware types.
pfSense CE & pfSense+ (Plus) on your own or custom hardware free or paid
pfSense CE & pfSense+ (Plus) on Netgate hardware free or paidThis should be even able to realize in any kind of your needs and according
to your use case as I am knowing it.I run pfSense 2.7 and pfSense+ Plus 23.05 on custom hardware.

You will likely need to use 2.7 on that hardware. You should be able to upgrade directly to Plus from that shortly if you wish to though.

@polnetgate The intel i226V NIC is a terrible option. Avoid like the plague.
I have been trialing a N5100 i226V tuofudon setup which is disconnecting continually.
The Intel EEE disable mitigation and many other suggested fixes from various commentators have no effect. They may work in certain circumstances but there is no guarantee, even with 2.7+ and 23.05+.
Choose a non Intel i225 / i226 setup and save yourself some grief. -
It's interesting. It appears there's more to the issue than simply using the i225/6 NICs, like how they are implemented on the board. We see no issues with the i226-V NICs in the 8200 or 4200 for example.

@polnetgate I bought the mini PC in my sig in August, and once I got the bios settings set it has worked much better than I hoped. It has 6 i226v Intel ports. From what I understand, the i225 had issues, went through several revisions and generally should be avoided. The current i226v should work fine provided there are no issues with anything else- it all has to work together correctly but that can be said of any component. The NICs I avoid are Realtek.
Regarding the memory, I had trouble finding quality 4gig SODIMS at the time for less $$ than 8gig sticks. So for a few bucks more, I went with two 8gig sticks to get my brand preference, Crucial. Maybe now you can find some quality 4gig sticks if yours takes two sticks, and hopefully they will save you some money. 8gigs is plenty for typical use. My last mini PC had 8 gigs, and even though I was running PFBlocker with more than a few lists, along with Snort and 5 vlans going, it rarely went above about 2gigs ram in use. Right now, it's taking 8% of 16gigs. with PFBlockering going, along with Snort.

Indeed. I have an N5105 with i225V B3 and now an N100 with i226V (the N5105 is a backup in case anything goes wrong) and had zero problems with either.
ServeTheHome has also reviewed many of these off Aliexpress and seemingly never had any issues.
I also have the Intel chips (can't remember which) in two desktop PCs with no issues.
