      Hi all,

First post here and couldn't find an answer to the particular issue elsewhere. I was preparing to upgrade to the latest O.S., uninstalled pfBlockerNG package (because it has proved to be a problem during upgrades,) restarted the device and no joy. Circle light blinks fast and zero response on the console. (Cable is good. Used it on the loaner firewall I put in place of the failed one.)

Any recovery from this? The 3100 doesn't have a hardware button reset. Can't get to console or UI.

      Thanks for any help.

If the LED is flashing fast after a power cycle it must be at least partially booting.

Do you see nothing on the console at all? Is the virtual com device even detected?

@stephenw10 I discovered I was connecting console too late after boot. Left it connected and restarted. Was able to interrupt boot to the Marvell prompt. I'll try USB recovery next.

          Thanks,

          M
